TATOU, the citizen company is located at Savigny (69) in the Monts du Lyonnais. In today’s globalised industry, it is difficult to confront one’s convictions with the economic reality.

The refusal to accept the announced delocalisation to Asia and the will to produce locally were stronger.  Above all, TATOU is a knife of high quality; its appearance, originality and functionality make it unique.

TATOU has a very small ecological impact, as the components take their provenance in the region of Thiers, conditioning and printing are entrusted to local small or middle sized companies, and the packaging is realised in recycled cardboard.  

The assembly of TATOU and of the sheaths is assured by E.S.A.T. (sheltered workshops) in the region of Lyon. Thus TATOU is rooted in the social economy based on solidarity.  
 

TATOU – the citizen company… in solidarity transfers 2% of its turnover before tax to below associations working in the humanitarian sector, for solidarity and for the environment
